VTC 6210-R基於Intel® Core™ 四核處理器 E3845 (1.91GHz), 是特別為列車車輛環境設計的。使VTC 6210-R符合EN50155 標準的強固，無風扇，緊湊型機制。VTC 6210-R在汽車和計算機之間，通過內置的CAN BUS 2.0B接口提供完整通訊能力。VTC 6210-R 具備豐富的PAN, WLAN 和 WWAN 無線連接。雙 SIM 卡支持，VTC 6210-R 通過軟件允許3個SIM 卡備份，以達到更好的連接質量。此外，3個SIM 卡 + 雙 WWAN 模塊體系結構可以提高帶寬，為更快的數據傳輸速度。不只是數據傳輸, VTC 6210-R也支持雙向語音通訊。配置智能電源管理，VTC 6210-R 可以通過引擎，RTC 定時器或SMS遠程消息喚醒。通過整合多種 I/O端口和3 x mini-PCIe插槽擴展, VTC 6210-R 保持靈活性以滿足不同車輛的應用需求，如信息娛樂系統，調度系統和視頻監控。
